YOUR JOB

As a Presales Advisor Software, you act as a technical consultant with a keen eye for commercial opportunities. In this role, you translate complex customer needs into well-thought-out software solutions. You operate at the intersection of technology, sales, and consultancy, playing a central role in the presales process by supporting both clients and colleagues with advice and in-depth expertise.

What will you be doing?

Analysis and advice

• You analyse customer processes and translate them into appropriate software solutions.
• You draft functional analyses and advise on optimal licensing structures.
• You provide technical and strategic advice to commercial clients (B2B) and public sector organizations.
  
  

Commercial support

• You respond to technical questions from account managers and assist them with technical input during the quotation process.
• You contribute to pricing strategies and provide input for tenders.
• You identify commercial opportunities within ongoing projects.
  
  

Project guidance and collaboration

• You support the Go Live and implementation of software solutions in collaboration with service partners.
• You visit clients (and partners/vendors) to map their needs, discuss project progress, and strengthen the relationship.
• You work closely with colleagues from Sales, Presales, Project Management, and external suppliers.
  
  

Documentation and evaluation

• You ensure clear documentation throughout all phases of the project.
• You evaluate completed projects to identify key success factors and areas for improvement.
  
  

Knowledge development

• You stay up to date with technological developments and obtain relevant certifications.

• You actively share your knowledge with colleagues and provide internal training where needed.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or have equivalent experience. You have a strong affinity with software and IT infrastructure and know how to apply your technical expertise in a commercially driven context. You work independently, take initiative, and are customer-oriented. You can communicate complex topics clearly and convincingly.

You speak fluent Dutch or French and English. Knowledge of extra French or Dutch is an asset. You are a team player with a solution-oriented mindset and take ownership of your projects.
